In keeping with Lehigh’s institutional priority of creating an anti-racist university, and the graduate education priorities of raising the visibility of Lehigh’s graduate programs and diversifying the graduate student body, a cross-college faculty committee is planning the first Lehigh STEM Summer Institute (STEM-SI) in Summer, 2021. The goal of STEM-SI is to connect students participating in long-standing summer research programs (REUs, BDSI, ATLSS, etc.) and African American, Latinx, and Native undergraduate student researchers in individual labs through intellectual, professional development, and social events to create a well-rounded and positive experience for students.
Please note: The application deadline for this program has passed (February 8, 2021) and applications are now closed. Please consider this program for Summer 2022!
