Is there Financial Aid available for summer sessions?
The Lehigh Office of Financial Aid administers loan eligibility only for summer enrollment.  Students who want to apply for loan assistance during the summer 2017 term must complete: 1) The 2017-2018 Lehigh Summer Financial Aid Application; and 2) a 2017-2018 FAFSA.  For timely summer consideration these forms should be filed no later than April 1, 2017.  Please contact the Office of Financial Aid for further details or assistance.

Is there summer housing available?  University housing is available during both summer sessions for undergraduate and graduate students who register for classes.  For information and an application, contact the Office of Residential Services at (610) 758-3500 or send e-mail to inrsd@lehigh.edu.

What do you offer for high school students?
High school students who have completed their junior year may take appropriate summer courses at Lehigh.  In most cases, high school students are permitted to register for courses numbered from 001 through 199, unless the course has additional course requirements such as college level prerequisites.   We offer a number of on-campus and on-line courses that carry full Lehigh credits that in most cases can be transferred to other institutions.  At this time, Lehigh does not have any residential career programs.

How many credits may I take and what happens if I register for more than I am permitted?  (Summer Overload Policy and Process)

Undergraduate students may be enrolled in two courses per session for a maximum of 8 credits concurrently in any session. A limit of 16 credits for the entire summer is the maximum permitted.  (Note:  when going over 12 credits, you will need to contact the registrar's office at 610-758-3200 or via email registrar@lehigh.edu and explain the need to exceed the 12 credits.)

The maximum number of courses and credits for a summer include courses taken at other colleges/universities.

How do I add/drop a course?
A non-Lehigh student admitted for summer may officially add/drop a course with the appropriate form (available in the Summer Sessions Office) and signed by the instructor.  Please take the form to the Office of Summer Sessions, 436 Brodhead Ave., Bethlehem, PA  18015.

How do I access my Lehigh computer account?
Non-Lehigh students admitted for the summer will be assigned a LIN and PIN number.  These numbers will be mailed to your home address once your summer registration is entered into the University’s Banner system.  If you have any questions regarding these numbers please call the Registrar’s Office at 610-758-3160.  After you have received your LIN and PIN numbers, go here to set up your account.

Who do I contact if I have a question about payment?
The Bursar’s Office takes care of summer tuition fees.  For additional information, please visit their website, or contact them directly by email at inburs@lehigh.edu or 610-758-3160.  Once you are registered, you will receive a bill via email to your lehigh account.  You will be able to pay it by going into the Student Account Suite on the Bursar's website or, you can contact the Bursar's office to make a credit card payment over the phone.

How are online courses graded?
Online courses carry the same credit as on-campus courses, therefore online courses are graded the same as on-campus courses.  The tuition is also the same for both online and on-campus courses.

How do I get my grade and request a transcript?  After successful completion of your summer course, you may access your course grade by logging onto the Lehigh Portal. You will need your Lehigh computer user ID and Password to log in. Click on the Banner tab and go to Main Menu > Student Services > Student Academic Records >Final Grades.

An official transcript may be requested from the Lehigh Registrar's Office by going to their website and requesting it online.  You may click here and follow the instructions.
